mails! swap package and envelope project

i heart swaps. if nothing else, it's a wonderful reason to blog!
recently i participated in tillie's simply delightful package swap. this is what i sent:
{stickers, my favorite yellow nail polish, bright notecards, fine point sharpies, and 2 mini notebooks}

and the other thing i love about swaps? sending and receiving old-fashioned thank you cards. claire sent me a wonderful {handmade!} thx note in the mail. i just love how thoughtful something handwritten is.

i also joined the envelope project over at meet me at mikes {it's not too late to join in}
you can see my envelope and it's contents here {on my blog} and here {on pip's blog} or just go look at the flickr page and watch the whole project unfold- i wish i could go see the window display in person!

  1. what a neat project! i love the little bunting on your envelope!! i was thinking i'd do that on a card i'm going to send my sister at camp, using a pencil eraser (cut into the shape of a triangle using an exacto knife). we will see how that works. have a lovely night angie!

  2. I love this post, of course, and I loved my package. Aren't sharpies one of the world's greatest gifts? I swear, you can never have enough of them. And you sent me such great colors! This makes me wish I'd taken a picture of the contents of the package I sent out . . . my partner was Tillie! I sent her a notebook that was made out of an old book, some stickers/stamps, a headband with a black sequined flower on it, and . . . see, I can't even remember, I should have taken pics! Maybe she will. :)

    I'm going to check out the envelope project. . . I've heard buzzings about it but haven't signed up yet. Off to do so!
