fill in the blank friday!

i've been wanting to do this for a while, and today seems like a great day!

1.  One thing I MUST do before I die is  make my own dresses. and then have kids and make all their clothes, too. {just like my mom did!}

2.  I would rather spend all day in the library than go to the mall any day.

3.  If I could give my younger self one piece of advice it would be don't be afraid to let bad friendships die. they will anyway, and taking control of the situation will ease your heartache.
4.  If I won the lottery tomorrow I'd by husband a new mac, and 2 plane tickets to spain for spring break.

5.  The best surprise ever was my engagement! hubby flew all the way down to nebraska the day after christmas to surprise me. perfect.

6.  My biggest fault is procrastination and complaining. i like to call it "venting" but husband says it's more like going on and on and on about things that annoy me.

7.  My biggest strength is my energy and love for others. at least i think so :)

 head over to lauren's to read some more!

and now i'm off to finish up some spring cleaning! {cause it's spring here, and our apartment is in some serious need of reorganization}

  2. Absolutely awesome list. I want to hug that puppy.
    I too would much rather surround myself with books all day than go shopping (I just hate shopping). And making dresses is wonderful. I'm planning to work on that myself.

  4. Fun! I thought I would make many (most?) of my children's clothes, but then I had three boys and they are much harder to sew for than I had imagined! Thus, they get occasional pajama bottoms and pillow cases, but that's about it. :)

    p.s. I hear great things about Spain.
